About Proposition 65
California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65) requires businesses to provide warnings before knowingly exposing anyone to chemicals listed as known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
VeeBoards® Products & Prop 65
VeeBoards® are manufactured from a proprietary polyethylene blend that has been field-proven for over 20 years in commercial cargo securement. The Prop 65 warning is provided out of an abundance of caution — trace components present in some polyethylene products may fall under California’s broad disclosure requirements. Under normal use conditions, exposure during typical cargo securement operations is considered minimal.
Safe Handling
- Wash hands after handling before eating or touching your face
- Do not cut or machine VeeBoards® without appropriate ventilation and PPE
- Keep out of reach of children
